What is Profiling ?

Psychometric profiling tools offer invaluable insights into the unique characteristics and potential of teenagers, aiding in their personal and academic development. By assessing various aspects of their personality, abilities, and aptitudes, these tools can help teenagers gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their strengths, and areas for growth. This self-awareness assists in making informed decisions about their academic and career paths, aligning their passions with future pursuits.

Psychometric profiling tools enable coaches, educators and parents to tailor support and guidance, fostering an environment where teenagers can flourish and reach their full potential. These tools promote well-rounded development, ensuring that teenagers not only excel academically but also develop essential life skills and emotional intelligence, setting them up for success in their educational journey and beyond.

How can these profiles help you?

Each programme provides for a particular need and has been created by a team of teachers, coaches and mental health professionals to meet the students particular needs.

01

Understanding their strengths empowers teenagers to build self-confidence and a positive self-image, which can lead to greater resilience and a healthier mindset. By recognising their unique abilities, teenagers can make informed choices about their academic and career paths, aligning their passions with future pursuits for a more fulfilling life

02

Understanding their career aptitude empowers teenagers to make informed decisions about their future career paths, aligning their interests and strengths with potential professions that suit them best. By recognizing their natural inclinations and talents, teenagers can embark on a fulfilling career journey, setting the foundation for long-term success and satisfaction in their chosen vocations.

03

Engaging in supplementary learning programs exposes students to new ideas, and experiences beyond what is covered in the regular school curriculum. This broadens their knowledge base, stimulates intellectual curiosity, and nurtures a love for lifelong learning.

04

University courses can be chosen with the help of psychometric profiling which enables students to make more informed and personalised choices about their academic pursuits. By tailoring the curriculum to match their individual strengths, interests, and career aspirations, students can enhance their engagement, motivation, and overall academic performance, leading to a more successful and fulfilling university experience.

Psychometric profiling has the ability to unlock previously unknown information about an individual's personality, strengths, weaknesses, and potential, providing valuable insights that can be used for personal and professional development.

"As a Year 10 student this really helped me to think about my subject choices for next year and what I might want to do when I leave school. It was interesting learning about DISC and the different types of behaviour styles. Overall, I would recommend Thrive to other people who need career guidance or want to understand themselves better."

Isla O’Donnell (Year 10 student)

"Isla, and I are so thankful she completed the Thrive for Life Extended DISC profiling tool. I initially registered Isla in the hope that the programme would help with her subject choices for Year 11, but she got so much more out of it than expected.

After completing the simple 15 minute questionnaire we received two reports identifying her natural behavioural styles, areas for growth and development, and possible career directions. It was great to work through the reports ourselves prior to Isla’s one-on-one debrief meeting with Marina, where the results were explained and clarified, and all our questions answered. Isla thoroughly enjoyed her time with Marina, and getting to know herself on a deeper level.

This process has started her thinking more about her future beyond school, and opportunities to align her passions with a chosen career. She has also developed more self-awareness and identified optimal environments and situations where she can thrive, all of which have helped to improve her confidence and general well-being."
